We are a 5 star licenced home dog boarding provider, based in Bedlington, Northumberland. Every dog that stays with us is considered a part of our extended family. With freedom to roam, sofas and comfy dog beds to relax on, full access to our large and secure garden and plenty of love and attention - not to mention the amazing walks in our local woodlands, fields and beaches - it's no surprise we see the same faces and wagging tales coming back time and time again!
We're licenced by Northumberland County Council, meeting the highest standards (5 star - licence NAL/271), are comprehensively insured, DBS checked and hold a current canine first aid certification.
Daily walks in some of the excellent local woodland, parks and beaches. If your dog is older, recovering from illness or injury and can't manage longer walks, we tailor a daily schedule to suit their needs.
Access to a large, south facing, secure garden for exercise, enrichment and play. We have a sand pit and water splash pool in warmer weather, as well as plenty of shaded areas to relax.
Enrichment activities every day to keep dogs stimulated.
Quiet times each day so dogs can relax, nap and recuperate from walks and play.
Full, unrestricted access to our home with freedom to roam - there are no crates or pens here.
Plenty of one on one attention throughout the day.
We are happy to continue your dogs feeding and medication schedule while you're away.
Drop off and collection times are flexible and we're only a 20 minutes drive from Newcastle Airport.
Peace of mind while you are away with regular photo and video updates via WhatsApp.
First of all, you can reach out to us on Whatsapp, text or email with your holiday dates, or to enquire about our availability. We can then exchange some information about your dog and the services we offer and if we think we would be suitable. If happy to proceed we can then book your dog in for their trial night.
Trial Night - A trial night gives us the opportunity to get to know your dog better and to make sure we are the best fit for your dog. It also helps to ensure they're able to settle and get on with our own and other guest dogs. We find it also helps dogs to adjust quickly when they come for their longer stay. Trial nights must be paid in full upon booking and are non refundable.
All dogs who stay with us must:
Be fully vaccinated, microchipped and up to date with flea and worm treatment.
Male dogs must be neutered and not prone to marking. We cannot accept females in season.
Be 100% house trained.
Not be overly boisterous or reactive to noises.
Be able to sleep on their own dog bed (or we can provide dog beds).
Be non aggressive and get on well with other dogs and people.
Be free from separation anxiety - we may need to pop out for up to 3 hours per day here and there.
Be a toy or small breed. Sorry, but we cannot accept dogs who are a mix of small and medium breeds (i.e cockerpoo). Our sole focus is on toy and small breeds.
